How do I join ESCOM?
It’s easy! Just use this link.
As a member, you’ll join a strong community of lifelong learners. Members receive our journal and online communications about ESCOM-sponsored events and happenings. Membership is FREE, but we rely upon the generosity of our members to sustain our mission. Please join and consider an annual voluntary gift of $25.
Will ESCOM release my email address?
NO.
ESCOM does not release email addresses to outside organizations.
Can I start a new Club?
Yes! To propose a new club, complete the form below and submit it via email to Will Meecham. (Feel free to contact Will with any questions or concerns.)
What’s involved in running a Club?
To learn what’s involved, take a look at the Club Leader Orientation Manual.

NOTE: Parking costs $4 in most Kentfield and Novato campus lots. Payment is required at all times, Monday to Saturday. You can pay in advance using the online system or after arriving via parking lot kiosks (a QR code is posted on each kiosk).
FREE PARKING:
- Kentfield Campus: Lot P13, an unpaved lot near the track.

(For more information about Parking on College of Marin Campuses, visit this webpage.)
Where is free parking and/or accessible parking?
There are free lots on both campuses. On the Kentfield Campus, free parking is available in Lot P13, an unpaved lot a modest walk from the ESCOM Center. On the Novato/IVC Campus, free parking area is available in the upper level of Lot P5.
If you have a Disabled Person Placard or license plate, you may park in any student or staff space without the need for a student permit, though Campus Police encourage you to use the Disabled Person Parking Areas, marked with the traditional blue sign and symbol.

Do I have to pay to attend a club?
Nope! Clubs are free for ESCOM members to attend! Go to as many clubs as you want, as often as you like, without charge. However, ESCOM and its clubs depend on donations to keep going. To donate, use this link.
To try out a club, can I just show up?
That depends. Some clubs listed as, for instance, “every 2nd Tuesday” will almost always meet as scheduled. But others have more variability. National holidays, illness, and travel may alter the schedule of any group, sometimes on short notice. Also, some clubs (like Spanish and Chess) want to be sure attendees have enough skill to benefit. In short, if you’re new or haven’t attended for a long time, it’s best to check with the club’s contact person before showing up.
Who’s in charge of ESCOM Clubs?
ESCOM is part of College of Marin’s Community Programs Department. However, most operations are managed by our volunteers. ESCOM clubs are overseen by the volunteer Clubs Chairperson, Will Meecham. He isn’t ‘in charge’, but you can contact him with general club questions. If he is unavailable, Luanne Mullin can be contacted as a backup. (Questions about a specific club are better addressed to the contact person listed for that club.)
